36 Hours In Indy

The foothills of the Sierra Nevada's had a warm spell last weekend, it was close to 80 for 3 days straight. Central Indiana did not, it was hovering around 30 for those same 3 days. It didn't really matter because in the Midwest we don't spend time outside in the winter, we just run from the house to the car and back.
Nick and I went back to Indianapolis for Aiden's Baptism. He is almost 7 months old and he is quite possibly the most handsome baby ever! He is at that stage where he wakes up from his naps smiling and his face reads, "this world and these people are so darn great." He has also learned a new "trick." He makes big muscles and grunts the cutest grunts (definitely utube material).
We celebrated the baptism with family and friends on Saturday night. I broke the news of our engagement to my Dad's family because he had failed to share it earlier in the week (hmm...). Dana and Darcy stopped by and seeing them was so reminiscent! Oh yeah, and the "holy water" we celebrated Aiden's baptism with tasted a little bit like Patron, but don't tell God that...

The pic is so awesome - especially the fact that not only do you and jenni look like sisters, but nick and matt look like brothers! :)

I agree with Anne, that picture is great, and should be used as a family Christmas card.

Funny, that Patron-like holy water gave Jeff a hangover. Strange... God as a funny sense of humor.

It was great to see you!
