Have you ever heard the quote, "trash and house guests start to stink after 2 days"? Well that was hardly the case with Maya Mandel from Israel. Maya is a great friend of mine from Michigan and she came to visit us for an entire week. Maya ran me into the ground! I pride myself on being the laziest, active person that I know. So naps are one of my favorite past times, but Maya does not slow down! Her vacation involved sun, snow and plenty of rain (a horrible NorCal spring...). But she did manage to make it to Yosemite, Hetch Hetchy, Murphys, Big Trees and downtown Sonora...she exhausted every avenue that this small town has to offer.
