Fall Pool Workouts

While Mom and Dad are struggling to find the time (that doesn't involve four and am) to workout. The boys have been swimming A LOT. Our fall weather (has been a little cooler than I would prefer) is still warm enough to swim a few evenings a week.

Charlie is a great survivor. He could swim all day long, doing twirls and rolls. And I'm really not kidding, it took him NINE minutes to do three laps and he didn't stop once. He literally just talked ("mommy, watch this!") and twirled his way to each wall. He has absolutely no skill. When he uses his arms, he looks like he's barrel rolling through the water and moves all of five yards. Needless to say, we've got some work to do, you know, for swim team next year...

Nick and him have been working on getting a double, but the best we've seen is a one and a half...
Mack loves getting big air, too. Notice how thrilled he seems?
Which resulted in these fun photos of my eleven month old suspended in mid air...
Just call me when someone decides that any of these videos/photos are worthy of the worst parenting decision of the year award (ie Michael dangling Blanket) and I'll point all my appendages towards our patriarch.
