Teenagers are the worst.

Example 1: He didn't want his hair brushed
Experienced parents will warn you about the teenage years. I've heard "Little kid, little problems. Big kid, big problems." more times than I can count. And I get it. As you grow the consequences of life's decisions grow bigger. BUT I'm not there yet. I'm here. And it's rough.  The teenage months--are.the.worst.

I know. I complain about every baby/toddler stage, but this whole parenting thing is a daily struggle. We have a few sparkly gems, sandwiched between a lot of crying. A lot of crying.
Example 2: He didn't want his avocado, he wanted my avocado
I'm here to warn you about baby ages of 13-19 months. They understand everything and can communicate almost nothing (or in our case, absolutely nothing). They are growing, teething, sickly, and dropping naps. They have opinions!
Example 3: He chucked his paci across the car and wanted it back
I have questioned (with both of my boys) whether they are severely depressed OR they just hate life and every other given moment of every day in it...
It ends. I think. Well, it ends until they turn 3 and then they hate life again. I think that ends too, but I'm not sure because we aren't quite at the end yet.
