SO, my boyfriend likes to pretend he is the "rugged" type. But give him a little hangover and some steamy hot temperatures and you'll meet a man that wants to stay inside and play Mario Cart. A little bickering, a pot of coffee and a breakfast burrito later...he was ready to go!
The Sword Lake hike is about 3 miles, it took some "about 35 minutes," it took us 1 hour. The lake is amazing.
We immediately went for a giant rock, about "30 feet high". Nick jumped right away. I pondered the distance of the jump/fall for about 5 minutes. It seemed like the 7 meter platform. I did it. It was fun.
Then we moved on to the rope swing, again I pondered the tree, the angle, the drop. I did it. It was fun too.
All in all...a crazy fun day!
