When I was a senior at Carmel High School, my AP Bio teacher took me out of class to tell me that he didn't think I would make it at Michigan. He fueled my fire, it may have taken me 5 years, but I graduated with flying colors (not honors). So on Saturday when someone told me I wouldn't make it 10 minutes in the sub 50 degree pool, I had to prove them wrong!
