It is a BOY!

We had our big gender reveal party this past weekend. Nick and I had been planning this weekend for a year. We wanted to have a party for buying a house, a party for graduation, a party for passing his EIT and a party for having a baby. We had to at least have this party before the baby arrived because what fun is a party with a baby, right?

We asked our guests to play along and wear pink if they thought it was a girl and blue for a boy. The majority of the guests wore blue but I am pretty sure that was out of convenience....
I wore pink because I had been having dreams about having a girl for weeks and Nick wore blue, well really, because I don't think he owns any pink clothing.

We shared the news with cupcakes. Our caterer from the wedding (amazing! www.lilaandsage.com) made these beautiful pink and blue cupcakes with the surprise in the middle, blue buttercream!

We had so much fun and we were really happy to share this process with our family and friends!
