Imagine a place where everything is perfect...OK, we just got back from there and it's called San Diego. Nick took me down south for a "babymoon" weekend; our last chance to get away before this crazy thing called parenthood invades our young lives.
Everyone warns us about how our lives are about to change but our reality is right now and we only have each other. Our weekend was about exploring our relationship and how far we've come over the past year...
We stayed on Sail Bay in Mission Beach at the Beach Hut B & B (http://www.beachhutbb.com/). The B & B was a block from a six mile path around the bay and a block from the beach path that went all the way north to La Jolla. We rented beach cruisers and spent a lot of time riding around town and exploring!
On Friday, we had a BBQ at the house with Jeff and Lindsay, the PB locals. They gave us several suggestions on the city and were fabulous hosts. It was really fun spending a night playing cards and drinking by the pool. It's definitely getting us amped for this summer!
