We did our annual train ride and pumpkin picking day yesterday. It's crazy to me that it has been a year since our boy dressed up as Super Charlie and rode the train at Hurst Ranch.
We rode the train, which was Charlie's highlight of the day, picked out a pumpkin and drank some apple cider. I was so excited to actually carve a pumpkin this year, but Nick ended up doing most of work by himself out on the porch. Its kind of hard to get a two year old involved in an activity that involves a knife...
In other news...
I'm officially "full term" today.
And to go along with my motto,
"If you aren't 15 minutes early, you're late." This baby should have been born yesterday.
A little 37 week self-portrait for your viewing pleasure.
My good friend, Brie got me my favorite bottle of rose
champagne for post baby, but attached was this great card. A lovely
little reminder, in my Negative Nancy state, that life is pretty
incredible despite its little nuisances (like being nine months pregnant).
So I'll leave you with a reminder to take time out of your day to catch the rain on your tongue!
