Mack: 8 Months

This little man is creeping up a year a little too fast. He's now eight months of perfectness. We've been traveling and enjoying the summer, so I don't have a lot to report. I'll keep this update short and sweet with eight bullet points to highlight his last month.
  • He is currently 17 pounds 6 ounces, coming in right under the 20th percentile for weight.
  • He got three new teeth this month. His top two came in and then were followed by his second bottom tooth the next week.
  • We've tried so many new foods this month and he loves anything he can pick up himself, but he currently despises dairy...yogurt, cottage cheese, shredded cheese all epic fails.
  • He's not a big fan of grass. Instead of crawling on it, he gets into bear crawl stance and cries.
  • He's loving his pool time. Up until recently, he seemed to just tolerate my pool antics...but in the last week he has been coming up from being dunked and started laughing.
  • He seems to be enthralled/confused/perplexed with my Dad (aren't we all?), every time he has come over he just stares at him. STARES. Like, a staring problem, stare.
  • He started saying mmmmmmaaamma. While, I know he isn't actually saying Mama, it still makes me really happy.
  • His favorite wake time activity has to be standing. He loves to pull up on things. He is so proud of himself, until it comes time to dismount.
