This little man is creeping up a year a little too fast. He's now eight months of perfectness. We've been traveling and enjoying the summer, so I don't have a lot to report. I'll keep this update short and sweet with eight bullet points to highlight his last month.
He is currently 17 pounds 6 ounces, coming in right under the 20th percentile for weight.
He got three new teeth this month. His top two came in and then were followed by his second bottom tooth the next week.
We've tried so many new foods this month and he loves anything he can pick up himself, but he currently despises dairy...yogurt, cottage cheese, shredded cheese all epic fails.
He's not a big fan of grass. Instead of crawling on it, he gets into bear crawl stance and cries.
He's loving his pool time. Up until recently, he seemed to just tolerate my pool antics...but in the last week he has been coming up from being dunked and started laughing.
He seems to be enthralled/confused/perplexed with my Dad (aren't we all?), every time he has come over he just stares at him. STARES. Like, a staring problem, stare.
He started saying mmmmmmaaamma. While, I know he isn't actually saying Mama, it still makes me really happy.
His favorite wake time activity has to be standing. He loves to pull up on things. He is so proud of himself, until it comes time to dismount.
